Geburtstag am Donnerstag vor diesem Eintrag, haben wir uns an diesem Samstagabend diesen Film angesehen. 181 Minuten voller Bildgewalt und grandioser schauspielerischer Leistung. Noch heute kann ich mich an viele Details erinnern und oft haben wir \u00fcber diesen Film gesprochen.<\/p><p>Das reale Indien war dann, wohl auch gepr\u00e4gt durch das Bild dieses Films, eine wirkliche Entt\u00e4uschung.<\/p><p>Der Gedanke der Gewaltfreiheit und wie man zur Erreichung seiner Ziele, die damit verbundenen Ideale nicht verraten darf, hat uns beide sehr gepr\u00e4gt. Gerade mit Blick auf den Nahostkonflikt zwischen Pal\u00e4stinensern und Israelis haben wir uns immer gefragt, wann denn der pal\u00e4stinensische Gandhi endlich auftaucht.
